For the LOVE of LEOPARD!

The fact that I love my children, husband, my whole family and friends is a given. So I am here to profess an un-expected love...
Never would I have anticipated sewing so much leopard print, but upon the release of Anna Maria's Field Study I have fallen in love... true fabric love..

It started with just a few little wallets for myself and our friend Lindsey. Then I began playing with a little kitty rain cape creation, next I stitch Aelyn a Storybook Dress with the fantastic spotted cotton... I used it in a mini-quilt I made my mother (shown above before it's completion)... Then, finally I made myself a little carpet bag with the luscious velveteen! Now I'm dreaming of what I should make next...

Sharing in my infatuation is my dear friend and fellow blogger Emily. She made her rockin' Art Student Tote with Essex and Spotted in the Crowd and then stitched up this beautiful Star Quilt top using leopard as the base.. yes Leopard is now a neutral to us! How do you feel about that?
